Based in Iver Heath, we support the film and television industries, motorsport, automotive, medical, scientific equipment and specialist manufacturing.
Every part is produced with care, attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Partnered with Movie Camera Support Ltd (MCS)
We manufacture all precision components for Movie Camera Support Ltd, our sister company, supplying custom camera parts to the film and broadcast industries.

Who We Are
Bromfield Precision Engineering is a long-established machining company offering CNC milling, CNC turning, prototype work and short-run manufacturing.
We work with aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, engineering plastics and other specialist materials, producing parts with the accuracy and repeatability our customers rely on.

Our Story
David Bromfield joined the business at 16. Starting with basic workshop tasks, he quickly developed a strong interest in machining and engineering. By his early twenties he was self-employed, hiring machine time to complete additional work and building a reputation for precision and reliability.
When the owner retired, David was offered the opportunity to purchase the company.
This became the foundation for what is now BPE.
Initially focused on medical parts and camera components, BPE grew steadily and later became the full manufacturing arm for Movie Camera Support Ltd. Today, BPE continues to support MCS and a wide range of external customers.

Our Values
We focus on:

  • Innovation – practical solutions to engineering challenges
  • Creativity – efficient ways to produce parts
  • Problem-solving – support for complex or unusual requests
  • Listening – understanding customer needs clearly

David remains committed to developing the business, investing in new technology and maintaining strong engineering standards.
